  1. The Tajikistan Municipal Infrastructure Development Project Management Unit, acting on behalf of SUE Khojagii Manziliyu Kommunali, the implementing agency, has received financing from the World Bank toward the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Investment Project, Grant E 0950-TJ, and intends to apply part of the proceeds toward payment under the contract for the Construction of Balkhi District Zone 2D Distribution Network, (Lots 1 and 2).

 

  1. The Project Management Unit for the Development of Municipal Infrastructure in the Republic of Tajikistan now invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidders for the following Lots:
  2. Lot-1: Construction of Distribution Network in Zone A: 28 Villages of Zone 2D, Balkhi District, WSIP-W-PMU/004-Lot 1; and
  3. Lot 2: Construction of Distribution Network in Area B: 29 Villages of Area 2D of Balkhi District, WSIP-W-PMU/004-Lot 2.

 

  1. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding using a Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers dated July 2016, as amended in September 2020 (the “Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

 

  1. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from Mr. Saidvalizoda A., Director, Project Management Unit, Municipal Infrastructure Development Project in the Republic of Tajikistan, at by email at rwssp@midp.tj and inspect the bidding documents during business hours from 09:00 to 17:00 at the address below. The bidding documents in Russian may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below free of charge.

 

  1. Bids must be delivered to the address below no later than 16:00 local time, 4 July 2025. Electronic bidding will not be permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened publicly in the presence of Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone else who chooses to attend, at the address specified in paragraph 7 below, on 4 July 2025 at 16:00 local time.

 

  1. All Bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security Declaration in accordance with the Lots:
  2. Lot-1: Construction of Distribution Network in Zone A: 28 Villages of Zone 2D, Balkhi District, WSIP-W-PMU/004-Lot 1; and
  3. Lot 2: Construction of Distribution Network in Zone B: 29 Villages of Zone 2D of Balkhi District, WSIP-W-PMU/004-Lot 2.
