Contract title: Reconstruction of the Uzun NS, construction of a pressure water pipeline (9.6 km; d=630 mm), pressure control tanks (2×2000 m3) of zone 2D, chlorination plant and construction of a main pipeline to the distribution network of zone 2 of Balkhi region

  1. The Tajikistan Municipal Infrastructure Project Management Unit, acting on behalf of SUE “Khojagii Manziliyu Kommunali”, which is the Project Implementing Agency, has received financing from the World Bank for the cost of the Water Supply and Sanitation Investment Project in Tajikistan, Grant E0950-TJ and intends to use part of the proceeds to make payments under the contract for the Reconstruction of the Uzun-2 PS, construction of a pressure water pipeline (d=630 mm, total length 9.6 km), pressure control tanks (2×2000 m3) for zone 2D, chlorination plant and construction of a main pipeline to the distribution networks of Zone 2 settlements of Balkhi district, Khatlon region.

The Municipal Infrastructure Project Management Unit in Republic of Tajikistan hereby invites sealed bids from eligible bidders for the Reconstruction of the Uzun-2 PS, construction of a pressure water pipeline (d=630 mm, total length of 9.6 km), pressure control tanks (2×2000 m3) for Zone 2D, a chlorination plant and the construction of a main pipeline to the distribution networks of Zone 2 settlements in Balkhi district, Khatlon region.
  3. Bidding will be conducted through national competitive bidding using a Request for Bid (RFB) as set forth in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for FIP Borrowers” dated July 2016, as amended in September 2020 (the “Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all Bidders as defined in the Procurement Regulations.

 

  1. Interested eligible Bidders may obtain further information from the Director of the PMU for the Municipal Infrastructure Development Project in the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Saidvalizoda A. at rwssp@midp.tj email  and review the bidding documents during office hours from 09:00 to 17:00 at the following address: Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe, Karabaev Street, building #56, floor 4, in the administrative building of the Committee for Housing and Communal Services under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. Bidding documents in Russian may be obtained by interested eligible Bidders upon submission of a written application to the address below free of charge.

 

  1. Bids will be opened publicly in the presence of Bidders’ designated representatives and anyone who chooses to attend at the following address: Republic of Tajikistan, Dushanbe, Shotemur Street, building #27, State Committee on Investments and State Property Management of the Republic of Tajikistan, Procurement Department on 4 July 2025 at 15:00 local time.
