On October 20, 2023, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, during his working visit to Vose district, visited the “Toskala” water pumping station located in Toskala village of Mirali Mahmadaliev jamoat. This facility was built as part of the implementation of the “Rural Water Supply and Sanitation” Project with financing of the World Bank with high quality and meeting the requirements of modern standards.

On October 20, 2023, the Founder of Peace and National Unity, the Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, during his working visit to Vose district, visited the “Toskala” water pumping station located in Toskala village of Mirali Mahmadaliev jamoat. This facility was built as part of the implementation of the “Rural Water Supply and Sanitation” Project with financing of the World Bank with high quality and meeting the requirements of modern standards. In the opening ceremony of the facility, the Head of the country was informed about the quality of the completed works and the capacity of the pumping stations base of the water reservoirs based on the projects and the display of video boards on the monitor.

In order to ensure the safety and purity of drinking water in the opened facilities, the quality of water is checked by specialists every day in the laboratory, and the water is continuously disinfected with chlorine chemicals. The pumping station is designed to provide drinking water to the villages of lower and upper Toskala, Guldara, Aral, Zarkamar, Zardolubog, Hulbek and the village named after Elmurod Khojaev, and is equipped with modern technology equipment. The Leader of the Nation, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, highly appreciated the quality of the finished works.

Vose district is one of the largest districts of Khatlon region, where more than 227 thousand people live. According to the design plan, Vose district was divided into 5 water supply zones, taking into account the increase in population, 155 thousand people, which covers 68% of the population of the district, were provided with clean drinking water within the framework of the implementation of the Project.
