- The Republic of Tajikistan has received funding from the World Bank for the implementation of the Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project (RWSSP) and intends to use part of the funds for the Reconstruction of Water Treatment Plant in Kushoniyon district.
- The Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project Management Unit is inviting eligible bidders to perform the construction works of the following facility:
RWSSP-W-ICB/028 « Reconstruction of Water Treatment Plant in Kushoniyon district”. The construction period of the facility is 18 months.
The Works requires reconstruction of the pumping station with the procurement and installation of pumping, mechanical and electrical equipment; reconstruction of the construction of drinking water tanks; Construction of a sewage pumping station and the internal sewage network; construction of water chambers; installation of flowmeters; construction of an external power supply line; construction and installation of outlet and supply pipelines, valves and other stop valves and hydraulic testing; supply of the necessary materials and installation of on-site process and electrical networks, water supply networks and hydraulic testing and land improvement. Within the scope of the project and Reconstruction of Water Treatment Plant in Kushoniyon district will be provided.
- Bidding will be conducted through international competitive procurement using Request for Bids (RFB) as specified in the World Bank’s “Procurement Regulations for IPF Borrowers- November 2020”, (“Procurement Regulations”), and is open to all eligible bidders as defined in the Procurement Guidelines. In addition, please refer to paragraphs 3.14, 3.15 for the World Bank’s conflict of interest policy.
- Eligible bidders can obtain a complete set of bidding documents in English upon submission of a written application to the address indicated: Dushanbe, 56, N. Karabaeva str., Rural Water Supply and Sanitation Project Management Unit (RWSSP)
- All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security of US $164,000.00
- Issuance of tender documents and requests for clarification must be received by the Customer no later than: 10 (ten) days before the date of opening of tenders.
- Bids must be delivered to the address below on or before 15:00 local time June 05, 2023. Electronic procurement is not permitted. Late bids will be rejected. Bids will be opened publicly in the presence of the designated representatives of the bidders and anyone wishing to attend, at the address below at 15:30 local time on June 05, 2023:
